FULL MOON/SPRING EQUINOX 2011 March 19-20, 2011

Springtime is an excellent time for SPRING CLEANING. There are mamy aspects of our lives that experience rebirth and renewal at times like these. We can go through the process with awareness, and have a pleasant expewreiewnce. Or, we can contiunue to hold on to things we no longer need, and experience the pain of the illusion of separation.

Here are a few timely smidgens from my fav star people. We feel the effects of the full moon for a few days before and after. Keep in mind the distinctions between the Babylon/Western Astrology System and the True also known as Sidereal, which means Star or Star Based Astrology System: One is man made: deals with how the earth moves around the sun; and the other is based on the actual motions of the Sun and Planets across the constellations. Which is also relative, but at least, it is what is. I am learning to Love What Is, which means not throwing out the Western System, and working with it in the light of truth.

The Full Moon is Saturday, March 19 at 12:10 PM (noon) Mountain Daylight Time. This is a super moon with strong energies and very close to the earth. If you can possibly be around a power spot during this moon it would be a benefit. However, you can take advantage of the amazing energies wherever you are. Being so close to the spring equinox, this full moon signifies change and opportunity. Pay attention to any opportunity that has landed your way. If it has come easily perhaps you are prepared to act on it especially if it feels right. This is the time for a bid for power. Know that the planet is different. Our footing has shifted and quite literally. Symbolized by the reactor issue, we are being challenged to manage our own power, overcome our fears and step into a new paradigm. There will always be loss connected with change. Always look to the opportunity rather than what is no longer available. Trust the larger picture and greater design of evolution and know that spirit does not make mistakes.

The Spring Equinox is Sunday, March 20 at 5:21 PM Mountain Daylight Time. Do something to honor the fire element this month. Burn something old that represents not only what you wish to give over from the past few months or weeks, but something from your childhood or from your youth that represents very powerfully an identity of yours that is past. This would also be a great time to identify something you are still attached to and either symbolically or actually burn it. Fire is purifying and signifies complete change and transformation. Fire is also the masculine counterpart to the feminine power of water. Both of these elements are strong this year and should be honored as representing the masculine and the feminine within ourselves. Use them, honor them, and thank them.

There is an opportunity for insight and progress inherent in the Full Moon. People often react emotionally during the days of the Full Moon due to a feeling of helplessness. They become aware of the distance between the way they want their life to be, and the way it currently is.

Often, when they see this gap, they become upset. The reflection from their environment shows them a realistic view of their relationships. The feeling of powerlessness comes from awareness of the discrepancy between the way you would like things to be, and the way they actually are. The empowerment is that once aware, you have the chance to change things successfully.

Because this FULL MOON occurs in the sign of VIRGO, you may have a tendency to be more critical than usual. You are likely to become aware of all the details of how others are misbehaving and not living up to your standards. You will also be hyper-aware of “flaws” you consider to be in yourself. Attended a family gathering. This definitely described the days events! Remember, this system deals with how we move about the earth, and also our youth. The Sidereal System deals with our purpose, destiny, and who we are here to become....

It waxes for 10 days before the exact event, and wanes 10 days after. So we have already been in the zone of influence throughout the crises in Japan. It will become exact March 18-19, which also coincides with the Full Moon. All I can say is: prepare yourself for a very emotional week, with tsunami-like waves moving through you. GYROSCOPIC EQUINOX!

"Friends of mine were discussing the Libran scales of justice the other day as one analogy for righting what's gone wrong in the world...in essence finding balance by counteracting forces. Somehow this model of light/dark, good/evil as way to bring about healing what's wrong at this time did not sit right with me.
