A trip is planned for October. The Initiate will study some of the sites that contain wisdom about Musicians. She will present a concert on the Nile. And she will attend the Celestial Event on October 22 when the Sun shines on Ramses for 22 minutes. This blog post is about the preparations and research for this pilgrimage.

What exactly am I seeking? I don’t really know yet, but when I find it, surely, a song will follow….

 

 

Here are a few things I found at a website on history of music theory

 

The Ancient Egyptians believed that understanding music was the key to understanding the cosmos. The idea of opposites pervaded all aspects of Egyptian knowledge and the understanding and perception of harmony was believed to be an important experience of understanding ratios and the simultaneity of opposites.

Musical harmonies were based on proportion, and the design of Ancient Egyptian architecture was also based on proportion. Egyptians considered music as a type of geometry translated into sound, and that architectural proportion underlies all harmonies

Egyptians believed in the concept of the ‘infinity of sound’, and divided up the infinity of sound into three distinct categories. Musicians are aware of two forms of sound: regular vibrations (pitch) and random vibrations (noise). Tehuti was the first to recognize a third element – of muting, being the absence of sound. Muting is a common skill employed by professional musicians to contain the sound

Egyptian Harps were used mostly in religious rituals and ceremonies. Musical notes in ancient Egypt were regarded as spiritual elements, and were conceived as independent structural entities. The Egyptian ten string harp was played by priests and it was regarded as a sacred instrument.

Egyptians believed that letters and words were phonetic elements with each individual letter as a picture of its own sound.They believed that individual letters consisted of unique vibrational patterns

this same site had some info on Pythagoras, and stated that he studied in Kemet for 21-23 years.

  1. Pythagoras believed that everything in the universe was related to numbers and mathematics. He believed that all numbers had an important spiritual and holy significance and tht each one carried its own vibration. He saw music the same way that he viewed geometry and mathematics, as a holy, spiritual scientific endeavor, of which a perfect society could be created.
  2. He believed that music should be regarded as a holy science and should never be used for mere entertainment purposes. He recognized music as the unifying principle of Harmonia, which he regarded as a divine principle that brings order to chaos and discord, which is also a reconciliation of opposing principles. Harmonia was one of the main principles of design and creation used in Egyptian architecture.

What is the Abu Simbel Sun Festival?

The Abu Simbel Sun Festival is a bi-annual event that takes place at the spectacular temple of Ramses II in the south of Egypt. On two days of the year the central chamber of the temple is illuminated by the sun. For a short period of time as the sun perfectly aligns with the usually shrouded interior, light is cast on the seated statues of Ramses II (pharaoh), Ra (sun god) and Amun (king of the gods). Only the statue of Ptah, the god of darkness, remains in the shadows. This event has been taking place for over 3,200 years.

Sunday June 25, 2017 at 1 pm at the Dojo 2304 S. Blue Island Ave in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. This is one aspect of an all day celebration of the Children of the Sun Summer Solstice Gathering, during the longest days of the year.

 

Although most of the songs are simple chants, many of the songs have a reggae feel or riddim. So, this music has even been called Ancient Egyptian Fusion Reggae!

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

 

The first event took place on March 19, 2017 in Miami, FL Spring Equinox and Month of the Goddesses. Special DUA to Sophia’s Maat garden for hosting this event. This is the first in an unending series of concerts and workshops. Looking forward to visiting your community in the near future.

 

In the future. the Concert will take place on a Friday Evening. This will feature a Ritual that takes you on a Spiritual Journey. The Next Day will feature the Workshop, with two aspects: First, learning the songs and chants, the translations , the meanings, the myths, the teachings, etc. of the Neteru, the Gods and Goddesses, the Ancestors the Cosmic Forces that live within all of us.

Secondly, there will be a KemeTones: Cosmic Sound Healing Workshop, where we will explore different ways to get closer to the Neters, and how to apply this knowledge to healing, healing of Self and healing others.

The Third Day will provide an opportunity to experience KemeTones in a one-on-one session. If so desired, you can also receive a HeruScopes Kemetic Sidereal Astrology Reading to enhance your sound healing session. You can also schedule an Energy FLOW Analysis.

Yes, this is the Personal Observation of the current alignment. Normally, I combine the two but this event is too big for just one post, at least from my perspective. This will contain a timeline of the event as it unfolded and revealed great truths to me. My intention is that this will somehow assist you along your journey, or at least help you when looking back on the events.

It’s Personal: Winter 2016 Planetary Alignment Part 2

The Alignment began on January 20. I was just returning from successfully completing my first KemeTones Certification and Retreat in Jamaica. That Mercury Retrograde however, got me pretty good with all kinds of technical difficulties. However, the Portal of Djehuty Opening provided a way for deep communication, truths revealed, lessons learned, and of course, sharing the wisdom and the teachings.  I did not even find out about the alignment until it had already begun! I KNEW that I had to write about this. However, I ALSO knew that it would be unwise for me to begin the investigation, let alone, using the computer for this report, UNTIL THE PORTAL OF DJEHUTY HAD CLOSED. Until Mercury Retrograde was over! This was very difficult, as I was very excited, and wanted to get the news out to the people as soon as possible.

 

Anyway, I kept myself occupied with other things, and put the celestial event out of my mind. I did not even unpack my suitcase until Mercury Retrograde was over!

 

January 25, Mercury Retrograde ended. I spent the day catching up on emails. I was also preparing to go Tulum Mexico for the Tulum Winterfest. Then, I found out that the event had been cancelled. I was kinda bummed, But the airlines website also mentioned that there was heavy violence and to consider postponing any travels to Mexico. There is always a gift in adversity, so I took this as a sign that it was best to remain at home.

 

Next, LLuvia’s new video was released. This was exciting because her birthday was coming up on the 27th, and this would be great exposure for the Benefit Concert that would be happening in less than a week. We Like to Turn Up When We’re Sad: Meet Drama Duo, and Watch Their New Video for “Hopes Up”

I must admit, I had my hopes up about the write-up. They were talking about the dancers in the video, representing a Hispanic young man and the young Muslim woman wearing the scarf. And then Lluvia was quoted as saying  “Na’el is Muslim and I am Mexican.”  silence.  well, I know I should not take things personal. But I was crushed. II felt like her entire African heritage had been denied or ignored. Including, her mother. I felt invisible, not the first time something like this happened either… I tried to talk to her about my feelings, but it was right before her birthday, and I did not want to be so petty.  (this might be a good moment to revisit the part 1 to review the info from the reading….) So I said nothing. That was my old way of handling difficult situations, say nothing, do nothing. But, that usually means that at some moment in the future, there will be a big blowup. sigh.)

 

I kept looking online at cultural news and current events. I actually enjoy spending precious moments, that could be spent more productively, skimming thru social media for gems and tools.  like the one I am about to show you. Yes, I came across this shortly after the video write-up.  #astroSH

#astroSH yes, a movement to uncover sexual harassment in astronomy departments. HELLO? sound familiar?  If you know anything at all about me, you know what happened next. I made a cup of tea. I cried. I did a pendulum reading. I consulted the Ancestors and Guides, prayed. and then I added my experience.

I cried myself to sleep.

The next morning, I managed to communicate my feelings to my daughter. She informed me that the writers left out the dialogue where she described in detail her complete lineage, and about the family efforts to maintain the property.

Later that day, there were several tweets and comments about my story, so someone had read about it. A few reporters contacted me, and even someone from a congresswoman’s office. I was not really trying to “get anything” as many asked of me. I just wanted to share my experience, and perhaps warn others, or help find others that had same experience at UT Austin in the Astronomy department.  #astroSH confirmed that I was not alone.  Someone had mentioned this to me 10 years ago about Astronomy departments, but I did not know the depth or the degree, or that it was a longstanding mess. However, the silence also showed me that #astroSH is 1) just for #whitefeminism and/or 2) Neil de Grasse Tyson is both very popular and powerful, and people are angry that I said anything about it.

Also on this day, I learned that although it was too late to be booked as an entertainer, I would be able to get a booth, at a rate I can afford, at a festival in Negril Jamaica! The Stepping High Ganja Festival. This is amazing because Ganja only just recently became legal in Jamaica! HOW ABSURD IS THAT????? (I was in Cairo the summer after the revolution over there. This is a trend I can get used to.)

This festival has become the beginning of another aspect of my vision manifesting: international wellness tours. After the festival, we are planning to have a workshop at a yoga studio in Kingston. Then a radio interview conducted by Mutabaruka, at his request. And the week will end with a free concert and free KemeTones sound healing sessions in Portland. I will be available for one-on-one sessions or consultations in between the scheduled events.

At first, I thought I was “only” going to build a Wellness Center in Ecuador. Now, I see that there will be Kemetic Wellness Centers all around the World, wherever the Diaspora are. And I will be conducting Tours to visit the various Wellness Centers. Things are actually falling into place, or rising into space. Manifesting. materializing, right before my eyes.

Back to the planetary alignment!

The next day, January 27, was Lluvia’s birthday. The concert date is getting close. I pulled out photos from when our family was young, and put together a collage. I also recorded her birth story.

You gotta take a look at her birth chart. it is interesting to compare to the chart for 1990 and for 2016. there is great alignment in both cases. You can see the charts here at part 1

 

In both of these cases, normally, I might have remained silent.  but where has that gotten me? Only to erupt at another moment in time. Better to face it now, in the moment. Trusting my actions, and the words that come from my mouth, or are typed with my fingers.

all I can say at this moment is that I felt like the universe is/was making a necklace with my life. each moment or experience: like a new bead or a pearl. a new precious stone or gem, packed with positive vibrations and potential. Just like the chart of the planetary alignment.

My life was dazzling and twinkling with magical gems and moments. I could feel the energy building, and I did not want it to stop.

 

I am not sure what will come of the #astroSH or my announcement about the rape incident. I can tell you that it felt good to look into the events, the past, to reconnect with people that knew me back then, it felt good to ask questions that I was too afraid to ask back then. It feels good to go forward with the steps and taking actions that I could not take back then. It feels good to examine the different direction that my life took after the incident. I can honestly say that this healing journey, through and beyond my trauma, will allow me to become an even greater healer in the areas of surviving sexual assault and also healing PTSS. I am looking forward to what comes next.

 

It has been very challenging to finish this article, because things are happening everyday. Besides, I have yet to even observe the alignment due to all of the wonderful rain and cloudy weather. All I can do is observe it unfolding…

I learned that twitter is more than just for social media. It is like a mini battle ground for people to express themselves and have arguments with people they may never see in person.  Up until this week, I had only experienced the positive and fun side of twitter. the networking aspect of twitter. The spontaneous, in the moment aspects. This was something else. Not sure if I will travel there so freely in the future. I did get sucked in to a few battles with trolls and Tyson supporters. The person that posted this meme blocked me from seeing their posts! I can only imagine the fun these people had with my story and subsequent comments. I even deleted a few of my comments! LOL!

Next on the timeline is the concert fundraiser. The Youth raised over $2000 to go towards the apartment building fund!

RECAP: SAVE VIA’S HOME AT EMPORIUM 1/31/16

(Yes, they made it sound like LLuvia is single handedly saving the apartment building. Yes, it was the editor that did this, not LLuvia.) I learned that when you are interviewed, it is crucial to read the article RIGHT before it is published.  Anyway, it was a tremendous success, and YES! I will be performing at the VICTORY CELEBRATION!!! I am so proud of my star child , and her sistars, #MedicineWoman. They really came together in a big way, for the good of the community!

On Sunday, the day of the concert, I wrote a song that I feel I wrote over a thousand years ago. It came through effortlessly. I just found out that last night, KemeTones was featured on TV Jamaica Entertainment report! This is right on time for the upcoming KemeTones Wellness Tour. March 4-13, Jamaica. One of the goals for this adventure is to ensure my spot in the lineup for these festivals next year, featuring KEMETIC REGGAE MUSIC FROM KEMETONES.

Today’s Rising was most wonderful for me personally. I so enjoy getting up early to watch Sirius as She rises, and these past few days, have been spectacular. Here are a few photos that I took, plus some video clips from the past couple of days….

Sirius begins to Rise Again close to the end of July. When I lived in Texas, I would usually see her on my birthday! August 5. Since I have been living in California, in a Round valley, I usually do not see her until September. This Year, I viewed her for the first time on September 1! Sirius is known as Sothis, and in Kemet, She is called Sopdu. Associated with Goddess Aset, She is also called Sopdet, or Sept  Sopdet sounds alot like September, and so for me now, Septemeber/Sopdetember  is another Sirius Month!

I spoke about  the incident at the Reggae on the River event last year, about, Tchiya Amet Day. I even made the statement about being “Too Black for Reggae! LOL!!!

 

During the promotion of the event, I was astounded to learn how many women chose removal over clearing and healing. Women my age were telling me, “I got that removed years ago”, or, ” My womb has seen so much assault, I am just gonna have them cut that shit right out of me”.  I wanted to cry each time I heard their answer.

Anyway, somehow got through  the entire day without taking photographs.  A day without smartphones! Talk about healing!

As was suggested by a good friend that is also an Elder, I spent the morning/opening ceremony making sacred space. I was instructed to make offering as at the 4 Directions, open the portal, and ask for protection. I asked for protection for myself, the ,and, and my neighborhood in particular. A crack van had been parked across the street from my home for weeks, or months. On June 5th, they tried to park one directly in front of my home, blocking the driveway. I told them they had to move, I even called the cops! (The cops claim they could not find my house, THEN  told me they know there is no illegal activity going on across the street because they were there the previous week to arrest someone, and saw no illegal activity. SHEESH!!)

Needless to say, the opening ceremony took longer than I had planned, due to the fact that I had broken one of my baby toes a few days earlier. Barely missing the place where my foot had been broken last Fall. Yes, it was a limping ceremony.

 

I started a batch of Womb Wellness Sun Tea. Red Raspberry Leaf, Woman’s Wellness from Ukiah Co-op, Flower Tea and Mugwort. Special Thanks to Melissa at Mancinelli Farm for donating Flower Tea and Mugwort to the event.

The first client was not scheduled to arrive until 1pm, so, I made some lunch.

I made SPIRAL SQUASH PASTA>first time I had successfully used this fancy vegi slicer!  Really into spirals these days…

I served some cooked, and some raw. Not sure why it was so delicious, but I may never buy pasta again. You could not tell this was a vegetable and not pasta. Too busy eating it to think about it after a few bites…

Womb Clearings

I had a few problems with the scheduler, and so the appointments were back to back, and did not leave space for the other activities. However, the womb clearing sessions went great, and I got some wonderful ideas and Divine feedback on how to make things go smoother next time.  We drank the Womb Wellness Tea, and got to know each other better. We all wish that we had more time! I had a strategy session phone call that evening that also proved to be very beneficial.

There was such a good response, that I AM GOING TO START OFFERING FREE WOMB CLEARINGS TWICE A MOON (MONTH) AT THE ASTMAATAJI TEMPLE OF DIVINE LIGHT HEALING AND SWEET SOUNDS (i.e., at my home healing space and Temple). This was suggested by the same Elder that told me to open the portal for the event. Once a moon, there will be a special time in the

AND FOR THE BROTHERS, I am in the process of developing an ANUS CLEARING. for those that have survived sodomy. Men and Women. It is a difficult subject to tackle, but together, we CAN heal this planet, one being of light at a time….LOOK FOR THE KEY WORD, URANUS CLEARING, so it won’t sound quite so unusual and unappealing. It will be sound healing and energetic cleansing, have no worries or fears. I have a special treatment for damage done to the bloodline, and now I will have one for this situation as well.

Later that night, I fell out, exhausted. I spent alot of energy getting the space cleaned and ready for the Day.

THE NEXT RISING, WHEN I WENT OUT TO GREET MY DOGS AND THE SUN, ONE OF THE CRACK RVS WAS GONE!!!! By the end of the day, the SECOND RV WAS GONE. They cleaned up the area, and you cannot even tell it had been there for 4 months or longer!!!! PRAYERS WORKED:  THE TEMPLE SPACE AND STREET AREA HAVE BEEN CLEARED. MUCH GRATITUDE!

Later that day, I started burning the brush. There is still quite a bit left, so the bonfire has been in progressive stages. Kinda wondering why did I hold onto that stuff for so long? Just like holding onto to pain, or sadness, memories, or material items that hold sentimentality. BURN IT! RELEASE THE ENERGY! LET GO OF THE SADNESS. When it comes p, acknowledge, then let it go, Don’t just hold onto it and act like that shit don’t hurt! LOL!!! IT HURTS! SAY OUCH< then move on. (Lesson to Self)

 

A few days later, I FINALLY did some KemeTones womb clearing on my own womb. So much sadness has been coming through. Once that was complete, I closed the portal that I had opened, and have since then returned to normal consciousness. I am looking forward to rising to the challenge of offering more womb clearings, and of course, the Uranus Clearings.

The future of Tchiya Amet Day depends on the present moment: getting stronger, and learning more about womb wellness, Uranus Clearings, and becoming the conquerors of my trauma and assault, and leading and guiding others to do the same . The location of next year’s event is at this time a mystery.  Last year, after the event, I stepped forward ready to help others, then had a series of violations to face. I can tell you one thing, I am staying away from events that are out of alignment with Maat, like Reggae on the River, and therefore, will keep me at a lower risk of being violated again in a public place. Being violated again in my home? NOT HAPPENING> I have learned how to speak up in the moment and stop protecting weak minded, deceptive evil individuals that would do me harm. That is what Tchiya Amet Day 2015 has been about for Tchiya Amet!  PEACE> HOTEP> DOHIYI>NAMASTE>IN ALL FOUR DIRECTION. AHO!

Zambos: originally described the People of Esmeraldas, a beautiful and powerful blend of African and Indio (Indigenous) Peoples. It was a term of respect and endearment. When it came to the Europeans, it became a derogatory term, and became SAMBO!!!

In Recognition of Afro-Ecuadorian Heritage Day

Note: This information was released by the Afro-Ecuadorian Cultural Center, posted on Facebook by an Afro-Ecuadorian friend May Perlaza, of which I translated into English.Alonso de Illescas (1528-1585)In 1997, the National Congress of Ecuador declared October 2, the national day of Black Ecuadorians giving formal recognition to Alonso de Illescas (pronounced O-lone-zo Day EE-yes-cahs) a native of Senegal, West Africa. He was brought to Ecuador on a slave ship around the age of 25 and grew up to be a strategist skilled in guerrilla warfare. Behind a fortress built by by an alliance of escaped African slaves and Indigenous people, Illescas and his men fought and turned back many expeditions of Spanish forces.
Afro-Ecuadorians remember Alonso de Illescas, the national hero. Alonso was also a diplomat, who on one hand, fought against the Spaniards, and on the other hand, knew how to make friends. He assisted other Blacks who were on shipwrecked slaves ships and nursed them back to health, then recruited them into his revolutionary force against Spanish troops.

Esmeraldas is on the Northwestern coast of Ecuador, a six-hour drive from Quito, the nations capital.

He was also a true governor of what is now Ecuador’s province of Esmeraldas; never subject to bribes, and even rejected the title of governor when many politicians gave up their properties to take on the title of governor of Esmeraldas. Olonso IIlescas trained new leaders starting with his son Alonso Sebastian de Illescas and his grandson Jerónimo (Geronimo) so that they be loving of justice and liberty and keep their territory free of Spanish rule. Although, Esmeraldas was the first province invaded by the Spanish, it was the alliance between Blacks and Indigenous people that kept the Spanish from taking full control.

COMMENTARY: We have heard of Haiti, the Garifuna of Belize, the Quilombos of Brasil, the Maroons of Jamaica, the Seminole of the Southeastern Turtle Island, the Moors. And now, the People of Esmeraldas. There are still pockets of freedom still in existence where ever slavery left its deathly impression. Sure, here in the US, Black People have created many forms of music and dance, however, we always go for the commercial, and lose control over the movement. We let go of TRUE culture and spirituality. The majority of the artists in the USA have FULLY embraced their enslavement, and some even work for the Satanic Forces. We are wrong to assume that financial success IS success. It is only a piece of true success. The People of Esmeraldas have created a space in my heart, because they have held onto their culture. Perhaps due to racism, or isolation due to geographical location, they did not go through integration as we did here in the US. Just another observation on ways we have adapted to slavery and the conditions and effects of slavery on our lives.They have racism there for sure, but it is different than it is over here at least these days. Now, it is OUR turn to get shot for being Black….

Good Rising! Welcome to day #24!

 

I have not written that many love songs. I had so much to learn about love, mostly about Self Love. I wrote this song back when my marriage of 19.5 years began to actually crumble. It was so difficult, because I know we still had/have love for one another. However due to my decades of undiagnosed PTSD, see Blue Lotus Speaks blog, living with someone in this state of consciousness eventually grows unbearable. Unfortunately,, once the healing process began, and I gradually came into the knowledge of my true self, as I began the journey towards self realization, sovereignty, and enlightenment, as the Higher Calling grew louder and louder, and my desire to serve the Most High with my music and sound healing practice became more and more imperative, as I began to move about more like a priestess, began to live more like a Goddess, growing closer to the Divine, it was obvious that we could not continue living as husband and wife.  I could no longer be controlled, never really enjoyed being dominated either. Although I was pretty good at it.

 

It is sad when the Love of Self and Love for the Divine is what tears relationships apart, but that is what happens sometimes…

As for the instrumentation, piano and percussion. I suppose this would be classifies as Salsa. garageband and Piano is out of tune, just like it was at our early home together, on 43rd street in Hyde Park in Austin, TX!!!
