Join us on one of the longest days of the year honoring the Summer Solstice, as we explore several aspects of Energetic Healing Therapies from Ancient Kemet (Indigenous African Egypt). You will learn about Energy Healing, Meditation, Sacred Chants, Sound Healing, Yoga, Live and Natural Foods, PLUS Reggae Music to close out the day. All founded on traditions from Ancient Egypt. You can also receive a one-on-one healing treatment from the practitioners that will be there.

This live event at the Dojo will bring several exciting Kemetic Wellness practitioners together, KemeTones: Cosmic Sound Healing, Ra Sekhi Kemetic Rekhi, and AudioPharmacology Kemetic Healing Sound Shower. In addition to learning more about these Natural Energy Therapies, you will also have the opportunity to receive treatments, either at the event, or schedule a session for the near future.

 

What is KEMET? Kemet is the Indigenous name of Ancient African Egypt. It means Land of the Black, referring to the rich black soil of the Nile Valley, the Original People that come from this Land, as well as the Sacred Darkness that is the source of Life.

The day begins with a musical presentation: Ancient African Adorations,

 a rare performance of  “Ancient Egyptian Fusion Reggae” music at DoJo.

then we move into the Kemetic Healing Sciences.

Tchiya will be performing her traditional “Reggae Jazz Fusion” show, but will also be performing a second show: a rare performance of her “Egyptian Fusion Reggae” music at DoJo. The shows will also feature Jamaica’s own Lenni I and Chicago’s own Dub Dis Reggae Bands and limited tickets are still available for both shows.

 

 

On July 1st, 2017 Tchiya Amet will be performing live along side Capleton & The Prophecy Band, Queen Ifrica, Lenni I, Chicago’s own Dub Dis, at the International Festival Of Life, in Chicago, IL.

 

Tchiya will be performing songs from her latest release, The Best, which you can find in the Timeless Classics collection Vol. XI by HousTone Records,  that focuses on re-introducing an artist’s earlier music to today´s music lovers. This CD was inspired by the ever-growing enthusiasm for all types of Reggae, World and Jazz Music performed by Women from around the world.
